LOS ANGELES (AP) — A tentative settlement has ended an eight-day strike by lecturers against a Los Angeles-plan charter college operator.
The agreement reached over the weekend is sending lecturers aid to study rooms Monday at The Accelerated Colleges, which operates three colleges with 1,850 college students.
The lecturers struck the charter college operator all over the greater strike by lecturers against the Los Angeles Unified College District, which ended final week.
Each and every groups of educators are represented by United Lecturers Los Angeles.
UTLA says the agreement makes growth on core demands for increased job security.
The union says the walkout at The Accelerated Colleges became the first charter college strike in California.
