There are a few signs to look out for that can be a sign so you can learn how to tell if you are going bald. Everyone needs to remember that humans shed hair constantly. So just noticing your follicles are falling out is not a sign of going bald. Most hair loss is due to genetics so you should check out your family tree. You can work out the chances of you going bald based on the males and females in your family.

Balding can occur at any age and it is possible for some to begin losing their curly locks at 18 while others loss their head covering much later in life. Most individuals notice that large clumps of hair fall out when they are brushing or combing it or that the drain in the shower has hairs in it when it once did not. Humans do naturally and regularly shed hair but this hair loss will be more then the usual shedding. Occasionally you may notice your hairline receding or a bald spot on the top of your head.

The best way to treat baldness is to begin at the first signs of hair loss. There are many different treatments that though effective they are will depend on the type of treatment and individual.
