Johnny Manziel’s time within the Canadian Soccer League is fini.

The CFL’s Montreal Alouettes equipped Wednesday that they’ve released the ragged Cleveland Browns quarterback after decrease than one season within the league.
“We are disappointed by this flip of events. Johnny was once equipped an unlimited deal of enhance by our organization, in collaboration with the CFL, nonetheless he has been unable to abide by the terms of his settlement,” Alouettes current manager Kavis Reed equipped in a press release. “We labored with the league and equipped conceivable choices to Johnny, who was once unwilling to proceed.”
Manziel was once licensed to play within the CFL in Dec. 2017. The quarterback signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for the 2018 season. Hamilton then traded Manziel to the Alouettes in July.
Manziel started eight games for Montreal, throwing for 1,290 yards, 5 touchdown passes and seven interceptions.
