Man City buy stake in third-tier Chinese club Sichuan Jiuniu FC

Sichuan Jiuniu FC is City’s seventh club

Manchester City’s house owners delight in sold a stake in Chinese language third-tier club Sichuan Jiuniu FC – their seventh soccer club.

City Football Neighborhood purchased the club alongside synthetic intelligence and humanoid robotic company UBTECH and China Sports activities Capital.

They are already majority house owners of Fresh York FC and Melbourne City FC.

Other investments encompass Yokohama F Marinos in Japan, Membership Atletico Torque in Uruguay and La Liga side Girona FC.

Basically based entirely in the Sichuan Province in South West China, China League Two side Jiuniu play on the 27,000-seater Chengdu Longquanyi Football Stadium.

“We deem strongly in the style forward for soccer in China,” said City Football Neighborhood chief govt Ferran Soriano.

“We are making a protracted-time frame, sustainable dedication to develop and non-public Sichuan Jiuniu FC and to nurture Chinese language footballing abilities.”
