Cheetah, leopard and zebra prints all made appearances in the outfits of showgoers on day four of Paris Fashion Week, but one animal print in particular came out at the inarguable top of the food chain: snakeskin. Whether it was worn head-to-toe in the form of an orange jumpsuit, as a vest over lace or as an accent in the form of some funky shoes, snakeskin proved its versatility on the streets of Paris. (Snakeskin was also a standout motif at the Off-White Spring 2019 runway show on Thursday night, further proving that Virgil Abloh knows exactly what the fashion set wants to wear right now.)

If snakeskin led the street style pack, then chainmail-esque garments came in a very close second for the most popular trend. Paco Rabanne, a label that has helped repopularize the look, showed on day four, and attendees paid homage with a variety of skirts and dresses featuring the pieced-together technique. But paired with oversized sweaters, button-up shirts and athletic leggings, it all felt remarkably wearable.
