It’s all but official now. Space Jam 2 is actually happening and it will be starring none other than LeBron James! The latest developing news suggests that Black Panther’s Ryan Coogler will produce the long-awaited sequel and Terence Nance (best known for HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness) will be directing it.
“I loved his vision,” James says of Coogler, who will shepherd production on the Warner Bros. project, which is currently set to begin in 2019 during the NBA off-season.
Above you will find an image shared via a tweet by Spring Hill Entertainment. The image shows a locker room and also includes the Nike LeBron 15. It’s safe to say the a Nike Lebron signature shoe done in a Space Jam colorway will be releasing to coincide with the release of the movie. We just have to wait to see if that shoe will be the LeBron 15, 16 or even 17. Thoughts? Stay tuned as more info begins to surface.
