A day after being booted from joint apply with the Inexperienced Bay Packers after a large hit, the Houston Texans held out corner Lonnie Johnson out of Tuesday’s apply.
Coach Bill O’Brien became muted when asked the reason Johnson became kept out of apply.
“Factual made up our minds to set up him out,” O’Brien talked about, by Aaron Wilson of the Houston Story.
O’Brien added that the 2019 2d-round defend would play in Thursday’s preseason opener versus the Packers.
Johnson became kicked out of Monday’s apply after a large hit on Inexperienced Bay tight pause Jace Sternberger, who got his helmet knocked off on the play. Johnson then stood and posed over the opponent after the play. A scuffle ensued. Fortunately Sternberger wasn’t seriously injured on the apply hit.

Johnson’s hit epitomized a rough first apply which left many Packers gamers perturbed at the physicality from a few of the Texans defenders, per Ryan Wood of The Inexperienced Bay Press-Gazette. Presumably it became easiest that Johnson wasn’t on the discipline Tuesday.
